Police search for suspect in Walker armed robbery

Officials are still searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed a local convenience store.

The first suspect is described as an African-American male in his early-to-mid-20s with a medium build.

Thin black male wearing muddy construction boots, dark blue trousers, grey hooded sweatshirt and mask. He also had a handgun.

Authorities released photos and images of the men captured by the hotel's video surveillance system.

Highway Patrol officers stopped a vehicle driven by the alleged perpetrators of the incidents about 40 minutes after they occurred, said Sgt. Johnathan Bragg, the Police Department's spokesman.




The suspects are possibly armed and are still at large.

They took the 15-year-old into custody there, but the other suspects ran off, Bragg said.

Police said the robber is described as a black man wearing a black hood, black and gray scarf covering his face, and there may have been some red material or writing on his clothing.
