Star Wars OnePlus 5T has two special features

Star Wars OnePlus 5T has two special features

Last week we reported on the unveiling of the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition at Comic Con in India.

The silver-grey edges and back panel are there to evoke the colours and style of the rather unique lightsaber main antagonist and pseudo emo-Sith Kylo Ren uses in both The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi.

OnePlus 5T succeed the original OnePlus 5 which was launched in June at a range of Rs 32,999, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with up to 8GB of RAM and a non-expandable internal storage of up to 128GB.

As per the design is concerned, OnePlus revealed posters of the smartphone that closely hinted it'll feature a customized software themed on Star Wars. Through Amazon.in, at the OnePlusStore.in, and at the OnePlus experience zone in Bengaluru and Noida.

It looks like the partnership is specific to India between OnePlus India and Disney India and hence the Star Wars Special edition OnePlus 5T might only be sold here. The launch event will take place at Carnival Cinemax Wadala in Mumbai. Starting December 7, 10:00AM onwards, you will be able to book your tickets to the launch event. It carries the logo of Star Wars on its back cover and is styled in black and white, that pays homage to the style of Stormtroopers. Moreover, there is no information on if this special edition will be exclusive to India or whether it will made available in other countries as well.

After launching just the black version of the OnePlus 5T, the company launched a lava red version of the phone in China last week. The volume button on the left and the power button on the right are painted black, but the alert slider is coated red.

It features a 6.01-inch Full Optic AMOLED display, having a full HD+ resolution.

What do you think about the white "special edition" OnePlus 5T?

It sucks that the rest of the world is being snubbed, but this is the second time since the phone launched that Asia's getting a hot new color.
