A second royal engagement for Harry and Meghan

A second royal engagement for Harry and Meghan

Apparently princesses don't tweet - and Meghan Markle has officially deleted all of her social media accounts ahead of her upcoming wedding to England's Prince Harry.

Although the royal family does use social media in an official manner, none of the royals have their own personal social media accounts that we know of.

Looks like they have since reconciled, however, as seen in Meghan's Instagram post from Father's Day 2016, where she said "to this day your hugs are still the very best in the whole wide world".

Both the verified Twitter and Instagram accounts for Meghan disappeared this morning, nine months after she made the decision to shut down her lifestyle website, The Tig.

Meghan, 36, joined her fiance to visit the Reprezent 107.3FM radio studios in Brixton, where station officials work with local youths by providing them with creative training in radio and broadcasting. He has even previously complimented on how "cute" her daughter was, which was why he put irritation aside when she started asking him about his thoughts on the royal wedding.

The Celebrity Big Brother contestant and former MP told her housemates what she thinks about Prince Harry's fiance - and her opinions did not go down well with viewers.

Markle, a Los Angeles native, also intends to become a United Kingdom citizen, a process which will take several years. Last year, she also ended her partnership with Canadian department store Reitman's for a fashion line.

On an impromptu walkabout later, she was showered with flowers and cards as she shook hands with the crowd, expertly steered by Harry.

It was Harry and Meghan's second public event together since the fifth-in-line to the throne and the American actress announced their engagement in November.

They are set to Wednesday at Windsor Castle in May, 2018.
