Costco Christmas Tree Successfully Returned Because It Died

Christmas is over so it's time to take down your Christmas tree... or return it to the shop that sold it to you? On the 4th of January, she demanded Costo a refund because her Christmas tree "is dead" and one eye-witness has documented the entire thing.

"I can't make this stuff up", he wrote.

Customers at the Costco were so blown away by the woman's actions that one man chose to call her out on Facebook.

"If I didn't see it, I wouldn't believe that someone had so little morel [sic] values or lack of conscience".

'Heartbreaking to think she may have needed that money so much, she lost all self respect and dignity for it.

Costco has a liberal return policy and allows just about anything to be returned at any time, though electronics and appliances have a 90-day limit.

The man claimed that Costco employees did confirm she bought the tree at their store and gave her the refund.

People on social media agreed with Bentley, calling the woman "cheap" and "disappointing".

The woman who received the refund for the old Christmas tree faced backlash from Facebook users.

One person wrote: "People like this are miserable".
