LG's tiny 4K projector puts a 150-inch screen in any room

CES 2018 has become a thing of the past because all the big players, especially LG is busy making announcements one after the other even before the show floor is open.

Besides being LG's first UHD projector, the LG HU80KA is also the brightness one with 2500 lumens of brightness.

Known under the product code HU80KA, the new LG 4K projector is known as the most affordable yet premium UHD projector in the market. The projector has a portable form factor with the mirrorless I-shaped engine that lets it do the task it is meant to even if you place it on the floor or hang it from the ceiling. The device also comes loaded with webOS 3.5 smart TV interface, so that users can access popular online streaming services. Dolby vision is not mentioned in the product description but it could be added at a later date but if they don't provide the improved visuals, it might be a small dent in this amazingly well-done projector.

"At this year's CES event, we are excited to bring value to consumers with our first 4K UHD projector, which delivers the highest resolution we've ever offered in a compact size", said Chang Ik-hwan, head of LG's IT business division. LG's 4K UHD projector promises great cinematic experience thanks to its excellent 4K picture quality and portable size, meaning that the movie environment can be created in any room of the house at any time. Of course we can't speak to its quality based on the renders we're seeing, but LG is expected to demo it at CES 2018 next week, so we'll probably find out more then.

So how much is the LG HU80KA and when can we get hold of it?
