Margot Robbie's story about meeting Barack Obama on her honeymoon is hilarious

Margot Robbie's story about meeting Barack Obama on her honeymoon is hilarious

The tale begins in Tahiti, where Robbie and her husband Tom Ackerley were honeymooning. Get HELLO! Canada, PEOPLE, Vanity Fair and over 100 more of the world's best magazines for one low monthly price at Texture by Next Issue.

While the incident may have been mortifying for Ackerley, Robbie did get to talk to the former president and found out that he thought she was a "very talented" actress.

The chance meeting in the hotel gym was made extremely awkward by what Tom chose to wear for their workout session. After spending four days in a hut on the island, the pair checked into a small luxury hotel for a few days of pampering.

"Since Margot Robbie and Chris Hemsworth are both Australian, we're gonna play a trivia game", DeGeneres said, dubbing the challenge "Ellen's Australian Boxers". The hotel suggested that they could visit the gym. "So he gets on this bicycle to ride and I was like, 'Whoa!,' I was like, 'Babe, you cannot wear those shorts!"

As it turns out, they ran into DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, who were also at the gym, in addition to one other esteemed guest. "I can see everything", said Robbie. We (asked), "Oh, what can we do here when it's raining?' And they're like, "Oh, there's the spa, or there's the gym".

"Tom meanwhile is trying to like, not reveal anything". As Robbie pointed out, his efforts were wasted.

Robbie said it was then that DeGeneres looked at him and said, "Boy, those were the wrong shorts to wear today".
