Transgender Big Brother star Rebekah Shelton is NOT dead

Shelton did not make clear whether she knew the person she claims hacked her account, or whether she would be pursuing legal action.

She told Judge Rinder she received no calls from her family or visits.

Last year Rebekah spoke out about her struggles during transitioning.

"I lost friends, it divided my family and I had to undergo 16 surgeries".

'But we've now had contact with him and he's OK.

"I would say think twice, go for some therapy and wait to see if you really want it". Please stop spreading this news!

In her video, recorded in a hotel room, she said: 'Hi everyone, I would like to kindly ask.

'I've been through hell today because someone used by Twitter account to write that stupid status.

"This person can't accept the fact that I'm happy and that I overcame all my problems and that I'm living my life happy".

She concluded the video saying: 'I'm not dead'. In recent years, the show has moved to Channel 5, where it is presented by Emma Willis, while Rylan Clark-Neal hosts spin-off show "Big Brother's Bit On The Side".

Her devastated followers immediately responded with messages of condolences after seeing the bad message posted online.

One commented: 'God, how very bad! She remained on the show for just under three months (making it through to the final), and was a much-liked housemate with the viewing public.

Giving her advice to others who may be in a similar situation, she said: "I would say to them, don't look at me and think, oh she looks incredible, I want to be like her".

"We're sorry to inform everyone of the sad news that our wonderful and lovely Rebekah died unexpectedly on Wednesday night", it said.

"But when I met him, I was deeply in love with him - he was the love of my life". Sorry for your loss'.

But a year ago, the reality star admitted she was struggling to cope with the huge transition because she felt isolated. So many times I wanted to kill myself because I had no one to talk to.

She then went on to speak in detail about her new female organ.

She started living as a woman in 2012.
