WWE star John Cena teaming up with Nickelodeon for three projects

Many wrestling fans have been aching for John Cena to turn heel for years.

Nickelodeon Group president Cyma Zarghami said Cena is just one of those people who kids love, which is why they want to work with him.

No word on whether Cena will be shown in front of the camera on his gameshow.

Cena commented: "I'm thrilled to partner with Nickelodeon on three big projects that run the range of what kids love-slime-filled live events, awesomely cool animation and competition shows where kids take their shot at being the best". Cena hosted the Awards show previous year, and will be returning in 2018.

Regarding the Ninja Turtles series, Cena will voice an original villain named Baron Draxum.

We can tell you where you'll see the WWE superstar first: The Nickelodeon's 2018 Kids' Choice Awards will air live from the "Fabulous" Forum in Inglewood, Calif. from 8-9:30 p.m. ET and PT, on March 24.

"The Kids' Choice Awards generate that same emotion and experience".

"Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will follow Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo on all-new adventures as they seek to unlock the mystical secrets of New York City".

In addition to joining Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Cena is expanding his partnership with Nickelodeon. The winning team will face The Gauntlet, a multiple-challenge obstacle course, where they can turn their cleanliness into cold hard cash. The show will be based on a United Kingdom format from Possessed and will feature kid contestants competing for cash prizes as they compete to keep clean while navigating obstacles that are created to make them messy.
