Kanye West Reaches 'Resolution' in Lloyd's of London Lawsuit

They accused the insurance company and their agents of having "purposely and maliciously" disseminated "privileged, private and personal information" about West to the media in a bid to undercut his claim.

It's now water under the bridge for insurer Lloyd's of London and rapper Kanye West.

After trying to undercut West's claim for lost expenses, the Chicago superstar opened up a $10 million lawsuit.

In case you forgot, West had to cancel the remainder of his tour as he suffered a mental breakdown. They said that if West had been on drugs that would void their obligation, but West's attorneys said that Lloyd's was just looking for an excuse. Neither West's nor Lloyd's representatives provided further comment. The two parties filed a joint stipulation to have West's case dismissed in California federal court.

The initial lawsuit detailed how West quit while playing in Sacramento, California, because of his "strained, confused and erratic" behaviour. West's hospitalization at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital Center occurred in November, 2016, after West exhibited freakish behavior at several concerts with comments made on stage about Donald Trump and tirades directed at other musicians.

Lloyd's insurance policy refused to pay out for preexisting psychological conditions, use of illegal drugs, use of prescription drugs obtained without a prescription, and overuse of alcohol.

Lloyd's of London countersued and claimed they had discovered "substantial irregularities in Mr".
