Rahul Gandhi slams Mohan Bhagwat for insulting 'every Indian', martyrs

Slamming Congress president Rahul Gandhi's remarks against RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uma Bharti said that the Congress must not forget that how on a call from Jawahar Lal Nehru (then Prime Minister) RSS swayamsevaks helped India in 1948-1948 when Jammu and Kashmir was under attack by Pakistani forces.

The RSS on Monday said its chief Mohan Bhagwat's controversial comment in Bihar on the Indian Army's preparedness for a war was being "misrepresented" as he never compared the army with his organisation. The statement have received a huge backlash from all across the nation and sparked an outrage on social media. "Running down the army amounts to treason", Pinarayi Vijayan wrote on Facebook.

The BSP supremo also sought an unqualified apology from the RSS chief. "At the JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University) allegations were made that the Army was raping women...this is freedom of expression, but saying that the RSS volunteers can lay their lives for the country became an insult to the Army", she claimed.

"The RSS Chief's speech is an insult to every Indian, because it disrespects those who have died for our nation". Sarsanghchalak also said that RSS cadres follow the discipline of where is the comparison. Vaidya said Bbhagwat's speech is shared on twitter handle of RSS. It is an insult to our flag because it insults every soldier who ever saluted it. Shame on you Mr Bhagwat, for disrespecting our martyrs and our Army.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday trained guns at Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat for his remarks that the "Sangh will prepare military personnel within three days which the Army would do in 6-7 months".
