Beyoncé and Jay-Z come to Arlington, tickets on sale March 19

Beyoncé and Jay-Z have finally confirmed that they are going on a joint tour "On The Run II".

But this tour poster appears to be the first time the couple has paid homage to an African couple in this way.

Available to stream on Showmax in Africa, Touki Bouki is the story of two lovers - a cowherd and a university student - who dream of escaping to Paris from Dakar. According to cultural critic Suede the 1973 classic portrays a young couple exhausted of their impoverished Senegalese with goals of starting anew in Paris. News of the tour slipped out last week when Beyonce's Facebook and Ticketmaster pages announced a date for the tour, on July 30 at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field and then both posts were quickly deleted. The ship sails away with Anta but not Mory while the hauntingly melodious song "Love Is Fleeting, But Rejection Lasts a Lifetime" is sung and Mory sits next to his hat on the ground, staring disconsolately at his wrecked motorcycle.

However fan group Beyonce Legion have revealed that Beyonce and JAY-Z's tour post was in fact a direct reference to 1973 Senegalese movie Touki Bouki.
