Nokia 9 2018 said to feature in-display fingerprint reader

Nokia 8 Sirocco handset was introduced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 tech expo in the previous month. Recent leaks have revealed that HMD Global will be launching two Snapdragon 845 chipset flagship phones this year.

We last reported about confirmation of our exclusive about Nokia 9 2018 via trusted sources in China.

NokiaPowerUser report claims that the Nokia 9 is going to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Talking about the Nokia smartphones: they are the low-cost Nokia 8 Pro and the premium Nokia 9 device.

Nokia 8 Pro will be a premium smartphone with the latest Snapdragon 845 processor.

It is virtually bezel-less at the top and the design seems derived from Nokia 7 Plus and not Nokia 8 Sirocco. Rumors are rife that it can feature the same 12-megapixel dual camera module which has been made available on Nokia 8 Sirocco. For the front, there would be a 5-megapixel selfie camera. While the base model will come with a 6 GB of RAM plus 64 GB of storage, the higher model will have a whopping 8 GB of RAM as well as 128 GB of native storage. This indicates that it may carry support for wireless charging.

There might be another company that is joining the notch-phone party, and it could be a new flagship from a well-known phone brand. It is expected to come loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo and it may be equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint reader.

The Nokia 8 Pro is set to appear with some impressive features.
