PUBG's anti-cheat patch rolled back

PUBG's anti-cheat patch rolled back

The new Battlegrounds patch released today includes some new features fans will want to know about. It hasn't at all helped that PUBG is beset with technical issues, no real content updates and is plagued by cheaters. For that reason the developers Bluehole made a decision to roll back the update, in order to fix those issues. Worse than that, the anti-cheat patch caused performance issues and errors for other players.

We will not be removing our recent patch in order to keep blocking cheats effectively.

It has been quite, sometime now, that we have been experiencing a lot of bugs and issues in the PUBG game and if the developers do not take control of this there will certainly be a lot of heat.

"We are doing our best to resolve this issue".

Advice regarding the compatibility issues is reportedly available via the game's forums.

Additionally, if you are having trouble launching PUBG, Bluehole suggests adding both "tslgame" and "tslgame_BE" to the exception list in your antivirus software.

Bluehole said that despite the issues, they weren't rolling the patch back.

Despite its effectiveness in blocking cheats, we have chose to roll back our latest live server update.‬‪We will continue to resolve some compatibility issues caused by it.

The rollback happened yesterday - if you noticed a small update to download before getting into the action on PC, that's what it was: Bluehole hitting undo. That's especially true in the light of Fortnite's continuing success.
