Repairing Samsung Smartphones Becomes Easier

Repairing Samsung Smartphones Becomes Easier

Starting March 15th, tomorrow, Samsung customers can go to any of the ~300 Samsung Care authorized uBreakiFix locations and get same-day support for their Galaxy smartphones.

Samsung Electronics announced an agreement with the U.S. chain uBreakiFix to provide same-day repairs service for customers of its flagship smartphones. There'll also be other in- and out-of-warranty repairs available.

"At Samsung, our goal is to provide Samsung Galaxy owners with a customer first care experience that is as innovative as our products", said Michael Lawder, Senior Vice President of Customer Care at Samsung Electronics America.

The Samsung Care service will replace screens and batteries and well as repairing ports and cameras for handsets both in and out of warranty. An exception there is water damage, mind, which is a longer process. As always, stay tuned for more Samsung news!

Reaching the "majority of the continental United States population", these 371 certified Samsung Care locations are spread across "all major USA metro areas", welcoming walk-ins, as well as appointments for blazing fast repairs. And just in case you are thinking that you might be getting subpar replacement parts for your device, Samsung reassures customers that genuine parts and tools are used to complete repairs, and all technicians are Samsung-certified. Alternatively, they'll be able to drop their Galaxy smartphone off without an appointment.

While the range of phones supported in the fix process is limited, it's hard to complain because Samsung is bringing fix locations for their customers.
