Taylor Swift accused of copying Spike Jonze ad for new video

Fashion fans have accused Taylor Swift of ripping off a 2016 fragrance ad by Spike Jonze for hip brand Kenzo in her new video. And given that it's another hit song, she looks not just glamorous, but also adorable and like the old Taylor.

The video for "Delicate", directed by her frequent collaborator Joseph Kahn, is about an worldwide celebrity - in this case, Swift - who suddenly becomes invisible to the masses while attending a fancy event.

In the clip, Swift arrives at an event surrounded by her usual entourage, giving a red carpet interview and dealing with the trappings of fame.

Her romance with British actor Joe has been kept underwraps but the release of her sixth album, Reputation, sparked further speculation as may tracks are believed to be about him.

The idea of not being seen is so freeing for Swift that she joyously tears off part of her long gown, kicks off her shoes and dances barefoot à la Maddie Ziegler-style through the venue, the subway and then in a city street in the rain.

The four-minute clip sees a frustrated Taylor growing bored of being recognised, and suddenly being afforded the opportunity to do whatever she wants when she realises she's become invisible.

Directed by Joseph Kahn, he previously claimed the video would be "unexpected and it's going to be grand".

The bar was founded by President Teddy Roosevelt and stayed open through prohibition before eventually being closed and the reopened in 2004.
