Porn actress Stormy Daniels was set to sit for a highly-anticipated interview yesterday that could shed new light on the affair she says she had with Donald Trump a decade before his election as president.

Neither Clifford nor her lawyer, Michael Avenatti, are backing down to threats made by the president's personal attorney Michael Cohen, who's seeking almost $20 million in damages from the porn star's allegations in the media.

Ms Daniels is scheduled to be the star attraction of the CBS news magazine "60 Minutes" on Sunday evening, a broadcast that caps a two-week media blitz by her attorney Michael Avenatti.

Beyond titillating details of Daniels' affair with the now-president, the "60 Minutes" interview could provide new details about an alleged effort to silence her.

On Thursday, he tweeted a picture of a DVD that he claims shows evidence of Daniel's relationship with Trump.
