Perry later tweeted "Me hiciste tan feliz que me caĆ en mi bum bum", which roughly translates to "You made me so happy that I fell in my bum bum".

Both competition shows have seen major changes this season, with Idol returning to the airwaves for the first time in two years and the original Idol victor, Clarkson, serving as a first-time coach on NBC's rival series. Fellow judges Lionel Richie and country music star Luke Bryan were dancing along with Venezuelan contestant Michelle Sussett, who beckoned the 33-year-old "Swish Swish" singer to join in. Once the two men helped Perry to her feet, Richie stated, "Some things you have to do for the business". She not only impressed the judges with her singing but with her songwriting, performing an original tune. Powerful vocalist, Christina Jones, wows the judges with a rendition of "The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me", too, and all three teen artists are through to Hollywood. Known for being unreserved, outspoken and at times just plain silly, Perry was moved to tears following a contestants audition on Monday night's show. Katy dubs him the best male singer they've seen so far, and Brandon is going onto Hollywood.

He wanted to get an Alpaca if he could win American Idol. William Casanova, 26, is the next artist to audition, and he sings "A Song For You" for the judges. She came in to the audition room with her sister Layla (who was just barely old enough to audition herself) and the two both charmed the judges.

Benjamin started his performance a bit flustered by the unplanned kiss, and all three judges declined to send him to Hollywood.

Katy Perry isn't afraid to give it her all on the dance floor, even if it means an accidental wardrobe malfunction! The 20-year-old sings Allen Stone's "Unaware" on an audition episode scheduled to air at 7 p.m. Monday.
