Divya Dutta, who won the Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the film "Irada" at the 65th National Film Awards on Friday, says it is such achievements that make her feel alive as an actor. Hindi film "Newton", a dark comedy on Indian democracy, was named the best Hindi film and a special mention went to its actor Pankaj Tripathi for his portrayal of a cynical CRPF officer Atma Singh. Rajamouli's record-breaking war epic Baahubali 2: The Conclusion won the award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment, besides scoring in technical categories such as action direction and special effects. Academy Award-winning composer AR Rahman won two Awards for Best Music Direction for "Kaatru Veliyidai" and Best Background Score for "Mom". "I am sure this news will be a source of tremendous happiness for lakhs of their fans across the world!" Newton is such a unique and a special film for all of us. "Its a film that has been made with purity and honesty", lead actor Rajkummar Rao, who is already a National award victor, said.

"It is a big thing, it is a very proud moment for me". For me, this is like an Oscar award. Ganesh Acharya has won the award for Best Choreography for the song Goli Tu Lath maar in Toilet Ek Prem Katha.

Director of the best Marathi film victor "Kaccha Limbu", Prasad Oak, told PTI, "This award is very very special as I have got it for my debut film".
