#Beychella: Beyoncé becomes first black woman to headline Coachella

After all, it is not for nothing that the beauty is known as Queen Bey by her fans. She then burst into her energetic set with "Crazy in Love", followed by her hits "Freedom", "Formation", among others.

See video of her full performance below.

The 36-year-old Houston native cancelled her 2017 Coachella gig while she was pregnant with twins.

It was an epic and stylish display of female empowerment that had jaws on the floor - but honestly, we expected no less.

Next weekend, she'll do it all over again for the second weekend of the huge Californian festival.

Beyoncé made history as the first black woman to headline Coachella on Saturday.

Last night, Beyoncé took to the stage at Coachella festival to preform in front of thousands of screaming fans. She also belted out I Care, Partition, Baby Boy, Hold Up, and Check On It before her husband JAY-Z briefly joined her onstage for Deja Vu.

Beyoncé superfan Adele could simply not hold in her excitement during her Coachella set it seems.

"I was created to play at Coachella earlier, however I wound up becoming pregnant", Beyoncé explained.

Channelling what we imagine everyone was feeling upon watching the "Single Ladies" singer's performance, these clips just further prove that Adele is a regular person just like us (aside from having a much better singing voice) and it's incredible! "We have been working hard and have a special show planned for you so please be safe and stay hydrated", she wrote on Facebook.
