Eagles CB Daryl Worley arrested, police use taser

Another Eagles off-season addition is in trouble with the law.

Per reports, Worley was tasered after he became "combative" with Philadelphia police and was arrested around 6 AM Sunday morning. That's when police arrived and a confrontation unfolded, according to the report.

The incident occurred near the Eagles' facility on Broad and Patterson street according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.

Rapoport added that 911 was called to the scene because Worley was found passed out inside a vehicle blocking the highway.

Worley was acquired by the Eagles in a trade with the Panthers back in March. He had 64 tackles, two interceptions in 10 pass deflections last season in Carolina.

It was expected that Worley would be in the mix for a starting job in Philadelphia along with fellow corners Ronald Darby, Jalen Mills and Sidney Jones.

Worley, 23, starred at Penn Charter High and at the University of West Virginia before being drafted in the third round by the Carolina Panthers in 2016. Worley said then that he was defending his girlfriend.
