Hotel Artemis Trailer: Jodie Foster Runs a Hospital For Criminals

Video: We've been hearing about Iron Man 3 screenwriter Drew Pearce's directorial debut for a while now, but we finally have a look at the dystopian future of Hotel Artemis in action - and its pretty incredible cast of criminals.

Rounding out the cast are such stars as Sofia Boutella, Jeff Goldblum, Jenny Slate, Zachary Quinto, Charlie Day and Dave Bautista.

Written and directed by Pearce, the film takes place in a near-future Los Angeles and revolves around a secret members-only hospital that caters to criminals. The trailer introduces viewers to the underground world of criminals seeking refuge at the hospital. Foster gives an ominous one-liner explaining the hush-hush policy: "This hospital was built on two things: trust, and rules". Sterling K. Brown costars as Waikiki, a robber who shows up at Hotel Artemis injured alongside his crew one night, following what was otherwise a successful job. Fans will get to see Sterling K. brown in an unusually sinister role and we're guessing he's ready to break some of the hospital rules that include everything from "don't kill anyone" to "no outside food or drink allowed". It's the Switzerland of crime, neutral ground much like The Continental hotel in John Wick.

The action-packed new trailer for upcoming thriller "Hotel Artemis" just dropped today, introducing a cool concept and a sprawling cast of characters played by a ridiculously star-studded roster of Hollywood talent. You can watch the first trailer for Hotel Artemis in the space above.
