Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer shows off 80's LCD games-inspired mini-games

A new trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3 was recently revealed at a fan event that shows off a few of the upcoming title's mini-games.

Kingdom Hearts 3 has mini-games inspired by 1980's LCD games, such as classic Game & Watch. The games are titled as follows: The Barnyard Battle, The Karnival Kid, Giant Land, and Musical Farmer. Instead, this new trailer is nearly entirely centered around mini games you'll be able to play during your adventure.

Some fans may be disappointed that this trailer only shows off these minigames, but we do get a fleeting glimpse at Twilight Town.

While kingdoms in Kingdom Hearts are traditionally areas Sora and the gang physically travel to, the trailer implies that Classic Kingdom may just be a gaming handheld that Sora finds and spends time messing around with.

Unfortunately, the trailer does not give more clues about this feature, so we'll have to wait to see a complete preview. Since it's the year of its release, we can guarantee there will be a new trailer or two, as well as an official release date at some point soon.

Kingdom Hearts III is still lacking a precise release date, although we've already been informed about the launch in 2018.
