Motorola's Moto G6 Prematurely Listed On Amazon With Specs

However, before the official announcement, the phone has been listed on Amazon in the USA and Canada, revealing the key specifications and price of the Moto G6 32GB model.

Motorola is working on the next generation of Moto G6 series of devices.

Going by the leaked image, it is quite sure now that the new Moto G6 Play will carry a glass build similar to that of Moto X4 which was launched past year.

Recently, Moto G6 Play was also spotted in a hands-on video. The image firstly seems to confirm an 18:9 display, which keeps in line with past rumours and renders. The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 chipset, mated to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

Though there is no mention of the camera MP count, reliable reports have indicated that the Moto G6 will come with dual 12MP + 5MP primary camera setup and a 16MP front-facing camera.

As you may have noticed, the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus both sport dual cameras on their backs.

Moto G6 Play will be fueled by a 4,000mAh battery with Turbo Power fast charging technology. The Moto G6 features dual rear cameras, and the Moto G6 Play will come with a single rear camera.

Finally there's the cheapest member of the Motorola G6 family.

There's a fingerprint sensor on the rear of this phone, and according to all of the photos we've seen so far it'll be the only handset to come with a scanner not below the screen.

A Twitter user has shared the renders of all the smartphones in the Moto G6 lineup. In terms of specs, the mid Moto G6 is rumoured to sport a 5.7-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 450 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB built-in storage, and a 3000mAh battery. A recent online listing pegs the G6 at $250 (approx Rs 16,300), while the G6 Play may be priced at $200 (approx Rs 13,000).

The leaked image has not revealed anything about the operating system but it is expected to run on Android Oreo out of the box.

The new Motorola smartphones are likely to launch in Brazil on April 19, and will soon make their way to India as expected.
