WWE Superstar Shake-Up 2018: Mock Draft for Top Raw, SmackDown Picks

WWE Superstar Shake-Up 2018: Mock Draft for Top Raw, SmackDown Picks

On the Monday episode of Raw, WWE announced that there would be a Superstar Shakeup where wrestlers would be traded between WWE's two main shows, Raw and Smackdown.

We could see matchups like The Usos vs. The Revival defeated Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson while Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt picked up a win over Titus Worldwide.

Kurt then said what's done is done, but he just spoke to Shane McMahon and Paige, and he confirmed that The Miz is heading to SmackDown Live.

All of this culminates in a house show-style 10-man tag match, where Bobby Roode is revealed to be the latest addition to Raw.

Charlotte Flair losing the SmackDown Women's Championship to Carmella is a possible sign she will be drafted. Having Lynch, Banks and Bayley all on the same show would be fantastic, as the trio could have numerous matches for the women's championship.

Rusev & Aiden English - These two need change. Raw is considered more of the flasheir brand and Roode's music and look fits with more with the program. At least for now, she still has Sonya Deville with her at ringside. Between Shinsuke Nakamura's heel turn and Ronda Rousey looking more comfortable in the ring, WrestleMania was a success for what it was. Her character is too similar to Rousey's, but because of Rowdy's star-power, Deville would always be playing second fiddle. Deville has all the tools to succeed. The right time for him, the right time for WWE and the right time for the fans.

The Revival deserve better for what's happened to them since their call-up to the main roster. They haven't found almost the success they should've reached by now on Raw, and a change to SmackDown Live could re-vitalize their careers.

Cross could reignite her feud with Ruby Riott from NXT, and Young also has a history with several stars on the SmackDown roster from his time in both TNA and NXT, so WWE would have no shortage of possible storylines.

Riott Squad: The concept of the Riott Squad really wasn't resonating on SmackDown since the moment they arrived from NXT, so the move to Raw likely is a last-ditch effort to see if they can be successful as a group before they inevitably split them up.

Instead, Angle announced that Miz would be headed to SmackDown Live in the Superstar Shakeup, noting that Bryan specifically stated that he wanted The Miz back on the Blue Brand.
