Ariana Grande performs new single with Jimmy Fallon's Nintendo Labo instruments

Appearing in a special segment on The Tonight Show, the clan sported the instruments constructed via cardboard and a Nintendo Switch - using multiple different configurations to pull off the performance.

A play on the show's recurring "Classroom Instruments" series, the bit finds Grande, Fallon and The Roots performing "No Tears Left To Cry" with instruments made entirely from the Nintendo Labo kit. So with Fallon on the guitar-piano studio and Questlove on robot kit, the late-night TV band was able to lay down some backup for Grande.

And now hopping on the gaming hype train is global popstar and former Nickelodeon actress Ariana Grande as she performed her single "No Tears Left to Cry" on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show using only the Nintendo Labo. Why would you even think of this?

To be honest, I wasn't totally sold on the concept until my son picked up the Variety Kit this past weekend. Whatever you dream of, you can make it. We asked if we could make other cardboard things like guitars and they [Nintendo] said, 'Of course! You can watch a video of the Nintendo Labo song below. "We'll help you do it'". Fallon said that they got the song right on the second take, which is pretty impressive considering these are real musicians playing cardboard with something roughly the size of an iPad Mini attached to it.
