Cleveland Browns, Baker Mayfield to be featured on HBO's 'Hard Knocks'

Coming off a historic, dismal 0-16 season, the Browns have been chosen to appear on HBO's popular "Hard Knocks" series, which gives National Football League fans a behind-the-scenes look at training camp.

Hard Knocks will debut in August and will include 5 episodes from Training Camp.

The Browns are one of the more interesting teams in the league. "Being a part of Hard Knocks will give our fans the opportunity to see how passionate the people in our building are about winning and how excited we are about getting to work and preparing for the 2018 season".

"I've been a part of Hard Knocks and when you experience it first hand, you come to appreciate the inside look it really gives fans", Jackson, who experienced Hard Knocks as running backs coach with the Bengals in 2013, said in a release.

Coming off an abysmal 0-16 season, the Browns have been making numerous offseason moves, including the signings of big name free agents like Tyrod Taylor and Jarvis Landry.

"I don't think there's anything good that comes out of Hard Knocks, but we'll see", Dorsey said. "Hue and I both feel like this team is in a good place and that we're in the process of building something that will lead to success". There's the obvious intrigue about Mayfield, Jackson's tenuous hold on his job, and whether an organization with two winning seasons in almost two decades can finally turn things around. Williams appeared on the program in 2017 during his time with the Los Angeles Rams. Teams are exempt if they have a first-year head coach, have made the playoffs the last two seasons or have appeared on "Hard Knocks" in the past 10 years. The program's film crew is set to descend on the team's training camp this summer, with plans to shoot thousands of hours worth of behind-the-scenes footage.
