Nicki Minaj says she's dating Eminem - but is it just a joke?

Nicki gets a little more specific for her star-studded assist alongside Big Sean and 2 Chainz on YG's "Big Bank", which was released Friday.

She also explained during her Instagram live that she is skipping her guest appearance on Ellen DeGeneres' show due to having the flu.

After posting a video on Instagram rapping along to her verse on YG's new song "Big Bank", fans became curious as to whether she might be dating the "Slim Shady" rapper.

In astounding breaking news - or just a brilliant case of celebs trolling their fans - Nicki Minaj and Eminem have come out as an item. But her new track does refer Eminem by name and goes on to say, "Once he go black, he'll be back again".

"@eminem babe I thought we were gonna keep it on the low til the wedding", she wrote. The hip-hop veteran has weighed-in on the growing romance buzz.

In the comments on the post, a fan asked, "You dating Eminem???" and Minaj responded, "Yes".

It might not be the smartest idea to mess with Nicki Minaj because she will fight back.

Minaj, who is now on a promo run for the "Chun-Li" single and the upcoming Queen album, wasn't clear about what, precisely, was wrong with her, or why the doctor didn't want her to appear on Ellen's show.

In early January, a report emerged about Nicki and Nas quietly splitting up in late 2017.
