Nintendo To Re-release NES Classic Mini in June

The NES Classic has been one of the hottest gadgets past year, and for those who missed out the first time it has been released, here's a second chance to get it. Nintendo has just announced that they are bringing back the throwback console to store shelves starting June 29.

The 2018 version of the NES Classic will not be any different from the previously released console and will include the same games.

Nintendo is bringing back the NES Classic Edition on June 29, giving players another chance at buying the massively popular retro console.

There will be no increase in the NES Classic Edition price for its return, as it will still be sold at $59.99.

In 2017, Nintendo surprised fans by announcing they would discontinue selling the NES Classic despite its popularity.

Remember the NES Classic?

Its sequel, the Super Nintendo Classic Edition, will also be available for purchase through the end of the year. After the production batch was sold out, Nintendo decided not to produce any more units.

It's still unknown how many new units of the NES Classic Mini will be produced. The first time Nintendo revealed the NES Classic, the company also announced that it will be a limited edition item, and the demand quickly emptied the shelves of retailers.

From your first ride on Yoshi to the final heart-pounding escape from Planet Zebes, the Super Nintendo Entertainment System is pure 16-bit retro gaming perfection. It features 30 games from the original Nintendo Entertainment System built into the device, including Donkey Kong and the first Super Mario Bros.
