A detail provided by the source is still quite intriguing: the Nokia X6 would not go beyond the Chinese borders. Granted the X6 doesn't pack particularly high-end hardware, but like we said, for its price and for its design, it's actually a pretty decent handset.

HMD Global launched its new budget smartphone in China on May 16th.

We know this because Juho Sarvikas, the company's CPO, posted a poll on Twitter asking whether the Nokia X6 should be brought to other markets. Out of the box, the Nokia X6 will run stock-ish Android 8.1 Oreo with little customisations done by HMD Global.

A Nokia phone with model number TA-1103 recently got its Bluetooth certification. Currently, only a bunch of smartphones support dual VoLte in India. The Nokia X6 follows the trend for less bezel and more screen, with the 19:9 full HD+ display.

Powering the mid-range smartphone is a Snapdragon 636 chipset, which is the same chipset found inside the Redmi Note 5 Pro. This is Nokia's newest top-end phone and comes with the Android One update commitment.

Anyway, Nokiapoweruser recalls that HMD is organizing a conference in Russian Federation on May 29th and that this event could be used to announce the Nokia X5 and X7.

The Nokia X6 has a 5.8 inch TFT display with a 2280 x 1080 px resolution.

To recall the specifications of the Nokia & Plus, the smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC under the hood coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage space. There's also a microSD card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C. It is fueled by a massive 3,800 mAh battery that also supports fast charging.

Talking about the camera specifications, the Nokia 7 Plus comes with a dual rear camera module of 12-megapixel primary and a 13-megapixel secondary sensor. Both the front and the rear cameras are equipped with Carl Zeiss lenses. The front-facing camera is a 16-megapixel lens with f/2.0 aperture.
