OnePlus 6 set for India debut: Here's how to watch the livestream

The OnePlus 6 will be launched at an event in Mumbai at 3 pm. The special edition is slated to launch today during the OnePlus event in India and here we have one last set of pictures where the OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition poses for the camera one last time ahead of its release.

The OnePlus 6 comes in 6GB RAM with 64GB version in Mirror Black at $529 (Rs. 35,825 approx.). While the Mirror Black and Midnight Black color variants will arrive on May 22, the White Silk color variant will arrive on June 5.

OnePlus has also confirmed that the OnePlus 6 will be its first flagship since the OnePlus X to feature a glass back. The rear of the device also houses gold Avengers and OnePlus logos.

The device will be available for pre-bookings for "Amazon Prime Members" from May 21. It features a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with 2280 x 1080 pixels screen resolution and a tall 19:9 aspect ratio.

OnePlus 6 has three variants - 64GB storage with 6GB RAM, 128GB storage with 8 GB RAM, and 256GB storage paired with 8 GB RAM. The premium 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant comes in Midnight Black color option and has been priced at $629.

Just like the OnePlus 5 launch, around 1600 fan tickets went live just a couple of weeks before the OnePlus 6 launch date, which were snapped up by fans in less than 4 minutes. In the past, the company didn't bring any changes to the prices of its limited edition models. The OnePlus logo below the fingerprint scanner is also in the same color.

The phone comes with a dual-rear camera setup, which now has been moved to the top-center of the back panel. The front camera is a 16MP Sony IMX 371 sensor with EIS and f/2.0 aperture. It is also possible to record slow motion videos at 480fps. Moreover, the front camera doubles as a facial recognition system to enable a Face Unlock feature. Dubbed the OnePlus 6, the phone has been the subject of countless leaks over the past several months, but perhaps the Chinese manufacturer still has a few surprises in store as it takes the stage at the Copper Box Arena in London. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port.
