With new trailers for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Dragon Quest XI, and a promising new intellectual property from Platinum Games called Babylon's Fall, Square Enix brought a little bit of hype to fans, but not almost as much as some other publishers did over the weekend. The 30-minute video did not mention anything about the "Final Fantasy VII Remake" and the unnamed "The Avengers" project.

Square Enix's E3 2018 conference bombarded us with trailers. This time around we got to see how the English translation is progressing, and so far we're impressed. The individual - our hero? - appears to be deaf; hence the "Quiet Man" name and the use of the tagline "silence rings loudest".

Five years after its reveal at E3 2013, Kingdom Hearts 3 finally has a release date and it's open for pre-orders now too. You can decide if it's worth buying and if you choose to purchase, you can head over to the Square Enix US store. "The two most prominent examples are brief teasers from Halo Infinite-presumably Halo 6-and an even shorter teaser for Elder Scrolls 6 at Bethesda's "#BE3" showcase.

Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood is getting a new patch called Under the Moonlight, and along with that comes a crossover with Monster Hunter: World. Stay tuned for more from E3 2018, which takes place from June 12 - 14. However, when it was all said and done, Square Enix had very little to offer.

However, it doesn't look too good for people living outside Japan, where Square Enix now has it listed as part of a lottery scheme it's now running. We got a glimpse at the story in Dragon Quest XI and the kinds of battles and skirmishes we can expect from the latest entry in the storied series.
