Kylie Jenner's Forbes Cover Calling Her A 'Self-Made' Billionaire Receives Backlash

Jenner, who turns 21 in August, appears on the cover of the financial magazine's "America's Women Billionaires" issue. The magazine estimates Jenner's net worth to be roughly $900 million, making her the 27th-richest self-made woman in the United States. I don't want to live in a world where Kylie Jenner doesn't have a billion dollars. She is ready to break the records previously held by the CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg, who became a billionaire at the age of 23.

According to Forbes, the businesswoman has in less than three years amassed a fortune of 900 million United States dollars (£680 million).

"Despite the fact that Kylie is a master of branding and has made an nearly billion-dollar business off her lips and cosmetics, once Stormi was born, Kylie realized she was a mother first, and that is a big reason she has been sporting the more natural look", the source adds. So Kylie Jenner made Forbes and there's been so much talk about it, from if she's really "self- made" to doubts and much more.

"We consider any person who built her own fortune, and didn't inherit the money, to be self-made", Forbes' methodology reads. "Her story is not inspiring or motivating for anyone".

"Self-made means having succeeded in life unaided", the online dictionary tweeted. "She grew up in a wealthy, famous family". Kylie is one of half a dozen women on the list because of make-up. The 20-year-old reached the milestone by starting her Kylie Cosmetics line that boomed into mega success and will now most likely be passed down to her daughter, Stormi.
