Real Madrid prepare £150m Eden Hazard bid

Hazard has won two Premier League titles, an FA Cup, the League Cup and the Europa League in a six-season spell at Chelsea that has yielded 89 goals in 300 games.

Real Madrid are preparing to submit a £150million transfer offer for Eden Hazard, according to reports. "Eden Hazard will be leaving for a big, big club".

Hazard shone for Belgium in Russian Federation and will have the chance to showcase his skills one more time on Saturday when his side take on England in the third place play-off.

Chelsea have been keen to tie him down to a new deal, but the Belgian has so far refused to sign a new contract, with the spectre of Real Madrid always looming in the background.

However, given his calibre, Hazard may well be eager to make a move to a UEFA Champions League club that is likely to win major silverware.

Hazard is said to be interested in working with the Blaugrana and the club's coaching staff are already excited by the prospect.

Hazard is yet to commit to a new deal at Chelsea, and with his current deal expiring in 2020, Barca apparently feel they have a chance of luring him to Spain.

However, there is the lingering feeling that he is destined for the Bernabeu, particularly after his most recent comments about Real Madrid.

"I think Real is everyone's dream", Hazard told beIN Sports. "Zidane or no Zidane, the white jersey [of Madrid] is special but the blue jersey [of Chelsea] suits me well so it does not bother me if I stay".
