Severe weather does not look likely overnight.

A mostly sunny end to the weekend with a few clouds around and the chance to see an isolated pop up shower or two throughout the day.

It will continue to be hot and humid with a chance for afternoon showers and thunderstorms each day, a typical August weather pattern for SC. Lows tonight only fall into the mid-70s. Once again, we could see an isolated shower or T'storm on Thursday afternoon with a weak cool front rolling through.

WEDNESDAY | Mostly cloudy with scattered rain and storm chances. It will still be humid with heat index values in the 90s.

Partly cloudy and warm tonight with spotty showers and thunderstorms possible, mainly north of the city.

Tomorrow: Partly Cloudy, Scattered Showers/Storms (30%). The combination of temperature and humidity offers the most unpleasant afternoon conditions. Highs will still be in the mid-90s.

MONDAY | A good chance for scattered rain and storms.

We are watching a non-tropical, surface low pressure system centered about 1200 miles southwest of the Azores.
