Google Pixel 3 XL live pictures and unboxing video emerge

This one comes in a box that nearly looks ready for retail.

In addition, we can now see that the power button is a different color from the rest of the phone after all, only it's a light shade of green/blue rather than orange like we'd previously seen on prototype models.

We've been seeing the upcoming and oft-rumored Pixel 3 XL from Google leak out over the last several weeks, most recently with news revealing a possible launch date for the upcoming flagship handset. They dont show anything unexpected – the Pixel 3 XL has a 1440p+ display (with a notch), is powered by a Snapdragon 845 chipset with 4GB of RAM and runs Android 9 Pie.

The Pixel 3 XL, fresh out of the box. These specs were further backed up by a separate leak on Tuesday from MySmartPrice, which points to a benchmark listing for the Pixel 3 XL from Chinese database Master Lu. Google has put a front facing speaker in there in addition to the camera, giving it a look that stands out for better or worse.

It seems the Pixel 3 will have the same problem, according to a bunch of early photos published by Mobiltelefon.ru. The chunky notch also makes the status bar very thick.

In the box, we see a pair of ear buds that share a similar design to Google's Pixel Buds, but they are wired (with USB-C) and lack the "G" logo on the outside. In the picture, you can see Android 9 Pie's gesture navigation is turned on, which Google recently told Android Central would be the default for Pixels going forward. But it's not as if Google has much reason to change what the device comes with.
