More evidence that we’re getting new Apple Watches next month

Considering the Series 3 was unveiled and launched in September, we should see invites come out in a couple of weeks.

These model numbers aren't associated with any known Apple Watch.

The filings, via MacRumors and Consomac, don't reveal many details aside from new model numbers: A1977, A1978, A1975, A1976, A2007, and A2008. Tech companies are required to register their products with the EEC before selling them in countries including Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russian Federation.

According to a new regulatory filing, the Series 4 model list appears to be two models short from the current eight-model Series 3 lineup. The application contains six new model numbers for smart watches made by Apple. It is likely to be composed of six models, against eight for the Current Apple Watch Series 3 (two aluminum Global Positioning System models and six 4G models - aluminum, steel and ceramic - in two sizes).

They will run watchOS 5 out of the box, the upcoming software that is still in the preview stage. That's because Apple is expected to increase the display of both 38mm and 42mm versions without increasing the overall size of the watches.

Apple has started to file its new Apple Watch Series 4 models with the Eurasian Economic Commission. Apple has yet to issue invitations to the media though, so the date isn't confirmed.
