A Shot Has Been Fired At Dr DisRespect’s House Mid-Stream

Twitch streamer Dr. Disrespect isn't afraid to take the competition to folks in video games.

The Doc was forced to abruptly cancel his stream on September 11 after hearing a loud noise, which he then revealed was gun fire, with a bullet striking an upstairs window in his home. "And someone shot again right now and connected with the house, upstairs".

"I gotta end the broadcast right now", he said on the stream (as reported by Kotaku).

It doesn't appear that anyone was harmed by the shots that were fired, though in the video you can make out someone yelling in the background, possibly Disrespect's wife. According to multiple media outlets, local authorities are investigating a shooting at a residence that reportedly belongs to him.

It's insane Doc's house has been shot at in back-to-back days.

Beahm was streaming as usual last night when he suddenly disappeared from the camera and came back to tell viewers he was giving up for the day as his house had just been shot at.

Beahm, a former community manager for Sledgehammer Games and multiplayer level designer for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, had since become one of the best-known streamers of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG).

"Following this, he was profiled by ESPN and was described as "a WWE character in the competitive gaming world" and his black wig, sunglasses and oversized mustache commented upon, as well as his being 6' 8". Another statement was also issued on his Twitter which said: "The situation is being handled appropriately".

At the time, he said it was a drive-by shooting and the second time over the past two days a similar incident had happened. In the meantime, stream will resume tomorrow according to schedule.#FirmHandshakes'.
