All Of Your Favorite Board Games Are Coming To The Nintendo Switch

Yesterday Nintendo fully unveiled their Nintendo Online Service, which launches next week.

Given the library of NES games along with these new controllers, the Nintendo Switch looks like it's on its way to making the NES Classic console obsolete.

Wireless NES controllers are coming to the Nintendo Switch - a flawless pairing with the Switch's upcoming library of NES games. We don't know anything about it yet, but Nintendo says it'll be here next year.

Q. After my Nintendo Switch Online subscription expires, will my Save Data Cloud files and Nintendo Entertainment System - Nintendo Switch Online save data be erased?

Save data stored with Save Data Cloud can not be kept outside of the duration of your Nintendo Switch Online membership.

Don't forget to charge them when you're not using them. That usually shouldn't be a problem, but if you decide to take your Switch to the cabin or some other remote location, you could find yourself unable to play the NES games you're paying a monthly fee for. These items are stored locally on the Nintendo Switch system but can not be accessed without an active Nintendo Switch Online membership.

It's also a decision that makes Nintendo seem short-sighted compared to its competitors, with Microsoft offering free cloud saves to all Xbox owners, and Sony storing PS4 cloud data for six months after a user's PlayStation Plus subscription has ended. You'll only be able to order these if you have a Switch Online membership.

The Nintendo Switch Online service rolls out on September 18 in North America and September 19 in Europe and Japan. Oh, and each subscriber is only allowed one set. Are you signing up?
