How Arsenal could line up against Newcastle United

Arsenal manager Unai Emery believes Saturday's trip to Newcastle United will be a "difficult" test ahead of his first visit to St James's Park.

"For me, it is a new moment, for us and for every player", Emery said at a news conference, as quoted by FourFourTwo.

However, Emery insists that the Monreal he is seeing at Arsenal is a "new" one who, in spit of his advanced age, is playing at a very good level.

The Gunners travel to Newcastle United on Saturday for a rare 3:00 pm Premier League clash ahead of the Europa League group stage opener next Thursday.

He started the opening two matches of Emery's first campaign at the Emirates, but ESPN reported that he was left out against the Hammers after arguing with the Spaniard and walking out of training. "In this process, we will work, we will help him, give him the possibility on the pitch to be together, to find his qualities for us".

Ozil's retirement from global football came after he made claims of racism from the German football association.

Also available are Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Mohamed Elneny who were away to global duties with Gabon and Egypt.

Emery admitted Ozil's first global break since his retirement will have been a hard adjustment for the player, but that the pair have been able to spend beneficial time on the training ground together.

Ozil has looked slightly out of place when Emery has deployed him on the right wing rather his normal central role as a No. 10, but Emery reiterated that the German is happy switching between the two.

Gazidis made the decision for Emery to succeed Arsene Wenger, having overseen a restructure at the club by bringing in head of relations Raul Sanllehi from Barcelona and former Borussia Dortmund scout Sven Mislintat as head of recruitment. He is very convinced about that in my conversations with him about it. "I don't know any other news from him".
