Samsung Teases a Four-Lens Camera With '4x Fun' Event

Cameras are a significant part of smartphones these days and brands are trying up the game with each release.

On Friday, Samsung released invitations for the launch of a new device at a Galaxy event on October 11. In a bid to stay ahead of the competition, Samsung has something special in store for fans. With a bold "4x fun" header, the invite confirms the invitation is for the launch event of the next Galaxy device.

Samsung could be hinting at either 4x zoom or 4 cameras here.

There have been rumours in recent times of a forthcoming Samsung Galaxy A9, which is said to have a four cameras on the rear. Now with Samsung's confirmation for an October event perfectly fits the bill.

"We know you're excited to get your new Samsung Galaxy Note 9". Later it was asserted that this quad-camera device will not be the Galaxy F or S10. As for what type of phone Samsung might be unveiling, that's up in the air too. Meanwhile, the front cameras are expected to come with a 12-megapixel main lens with variable aperture (f/1.5 to f/2.4), and another super-wide-angle lens at 16-megapixel with f/1.9 aperture. Then we are asked to "capture the fun with Samsung" as the company celebrates the launch of the new device.
